                                              I used to own XXXYahoo.com way long time ago, 1996; it took them 3.5 years to send me a polite email saying hand it over. I guess now a days they are probably not so nice.

                                                      the word yahoo existed looong before the company came along. So why can't someone own a domain with that word in it.
                                                      How about if someone trademarks the word sex... won't anybody be able to have "sex" in their domain names? Or the word "the"?

                                                          He can't use Yahoo for his business because he is playing off the reputation of Yahoo.com to make $$. That is a clear violation of trademark. When you think of yahoo cuties do you think of cuties on Yahoo.com or of a crude cutie.
