-------- 50! --------

I'm gonna run right out and buy as many .xxx domains as I possibly can... then when adult web masters HAVE to buy them because it's the law, I'll make a shitpot of money selling them to the highest bidder...

NOT!

**2257-Ben** · 06-26-2005, 09:53 AM

**2257-Ben** · 06-26-2005, 09:54 AM

Game set and match. Adult will be contained to .xxx within the first year.
I am taking bets.

**AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE** · 06-26-2005, 09:58 AM

But I doubt any of you will call it censorship, ya will think of something else to call it as an excuse.

Fuck it though. .xxx is inevitable. I will capitalise on it even though it is more evil than any of you folks around here have any idea of.

So, are you gonna take bets, or are you gonna capitalize -- or are you gonna capitalize by taking bets --

I wont have a choice but to capitalise on it.

The guys that thought of it insured that fact.

No money for industry defense.
Money for .xxx registrations goes to various groups whose sol purpose is to clip adult under the guise of Protecting the children.
Politicians will move in on us like sharks in a blood pool.
ISP's will begin blocking access.

Ya can bet Credit companies will make "Adjustments"...

If there is an internet Armageddon, this is one of the fucken horsemen.

**AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE** · 06-26-2005, 10:18 AM

I hope the people that thought of it are pleased with themselves.

Pleased at the fact this shit is going to ravage the adult internet at the very core from Commerce to Law to Politically induced censorship.

Do I think its bad for the Industry as a whole? Hell yeah, if you cant see why well...too bad

Either make a point or shut up.

You are an idiot if the only point you can make is a circular statement.

".xxx is bad for the industry because .xxx is bad."

That is your only point. Sad.

**pornguy** · 06-26-2005, 09:40 PM

I think that it will be used against us, and I fear that it will become illegal to have a .com after the .xxx is released. I think that is the over all goal of the govenrment on this one.

**PhillipB** · 06-26-2005, 10:27 PM

Becoming mandatory? That's the whole point. Let me quote from the AVN article:

http://www.avnonline.com/index.php?P...tent_ID=231312

"I think the executive director is going to be a Washington, D.C., lobbyist type. It probably won?t be somebody from the adult industry."

Guess what that lobbyist is there to do...

.xxx as another TLD domain = useless
.xxx under a mandatory migration = the end of the industry as we know it

How much do you think that Sex.xxx would go for?
Who will be the lucky guy to buy it?
