just got one a few days ago, upgraded from a razor...i held the razors small size to a high premium, but when i saw the additional features, screen, simpler txting at a very similar size, i had to get it.

I liked the size of the razor and did not want to replace it with anything much bigger. I recently saw the pearl and a day after learning how to use, am very glad to have made the switch. It holds much more data, easier txting, email, web, a nice large screen…it does not have the compromises that Motorola did to keep the size of the razor small, and while it is just a bit bigger, they are very close in size

1. The antenna is very weak.
2. It couldnt surf the net from indoors very well.
3. The speaker phone cuts out alot.
4. Keypad still makes noise when its locked
5. Would go back to vibrate instead of ringing...

yea my friend told me its a really low quality phone.
I still have the first little Blackberry that came out - about the size of a pager. I loved that thing Of course, it didn't have all the bells and whistles the newer ones have, but all I needed was to answer email away from home.
