Quit my job of 6 years. Now how can I break the news to my girl?

For the past few months. I've been making approximately $2000+/Month. I've been contemplating all year on quitting my physically abusive job. I mean, I've been frequently missing lots of days and going in late. So yesterday morning. They hinter around about firing my for all those infractions. The boss along with 2 other managers called me in the office talking to me about my attendance. I FINALLY broke out and said "I really want to quit this job". I told them I'm financially stable cuz I sell porn memberships on the internet. So they got all the paperwork and I resigned. When 2 of the managers left and one of em stayed. He started whispering to me on how to get in on the online porn business. I just told him to keep buying memberships to the sites and he'll get an invite eventually... lol

But now, I've hinter around to my girlfriend that I want to quit my job. She said if I did, she'll quit me. But she knows I still make money on the net. she just don't like the fact of me staying around the house while she goes to work. I didn't go to work this morning and when she asked why I said I had the day off. Now, next morning is gonna come and I was thinking of leaving for a few hours to make her think I was going to work. But of course I can't do that everyday...

Should I just str8-up tell her that i've quit my job or make up a good excuse like saying I got fired or something? All in all, I just wanted to get some of this off my chest...

Seriously though, you should be honest with her. Her utlimatum was completely out of line. I agree with Socks too. She's too worried about what others will think of her.
