My partner felt the same way
although he has never been (And doesn't want to be) with a prostitute. Before he met me, he thought he'd never get serious with any woman. But then we met and he realized I'm not like he thought woman were (as many other girls)
I never ask him to be faithfull to me or to give me explanations of what he did and didn't do (If you love something, set it free. If it returns, it's yours forever.If it doesn't, it wasn't yours to begin with.) He didn't believe in monogamy either but the very thought of me being with some other men made him change his mind.
I agree you can't trust anybody anymore... but isn't better to burn your hands sometimes than to going around with gloves all the time?
