I have a niche website like ABC, why not become an affiliate with XYZ and earn money on your traffic.
If you ordered a report on one of your own domains, you could view affiliates that aren't your top producers, and look at their linking relationships of where their traffic is coming from, and actually be able to contact them and ask them to place your link on specific pages that would allow you to tap into more of their traffic.
In this scenario, the affiliate manager is actually helping the affiliate webmaster maximize the traffic coming to him to promote the sponsor.
