    Model Requirements (biz thread) ***PICS***

    Getting a new contract drafted up for a revshare agreement with a model. These are some of the requirements I have come up with so far. Please feel free to add to the list.

    4 shoots a month (times and places determined by Producer)
    One 30 minute cam show a week
    Daily Journal entries
    Active member in message forum
    Model to provide her own outfits

                  And do not put a "set" limit on any shoots. Get as many as possible per shoot day just in case.

                                      Sounds like your model doesn't understand the concept of "work". Talent in this industry always thinks that since this is the "porno biz" that the money will just come flowing into their pockets, without much effort. You really need to explain to her that this is an investment in time, and not just a free ride.

                                                  I would designate the shoots as 4 shooting days per month. She could take that as anything. So more detail in that line would be essential.

                                                  More cam time for sure. If you are going to pay her a % she will see money pretty quick so that shouldn't be a problem. Undersell it and over deliver.

                                                  Ask for her to do amateur shoots a couple times a month and send them in. The professional stuff or semi pro stuff is great but amateur stuff is great too. Even just silly picks of her out on the town etc can all add to a guys exp that he may be out one night and run into the girl.

                                                      2-3 hour long cam shows a week at a minimum if possible. Does wonders for retention.

                                                                                                          Does she still get to be paid as long as the site is up, or do you keep what used to be her share for yourself then?

                                                                                                              The problem I have found is that most models often don't know what looks best on camera. I spend between $500 and $1000 on wardrobe per model per 30 sets. Also hair and other accessories as well as manicures as needed. It's easily within my budget and well worth spend the extra money to get what I want.

                                                                                                                                      I have heard of examples where guys hire a model, pay them zip for their modeling work, have them do hours of cam work, appearances, etc., for a few months, and then once they have enough content to last a year or two, they dump the model.

                                                                                                                                      On top of that, they only pay the model on the net earnings while she is active (not gross earnings), so she is essentially paying for 50% or more of the webmasters expenses, plus paying most if not all of her own expenses such as outfits (which get real expensive fast, since - unless you are low-budget, you only shoot each outfit once), hair and nails ($100 plus per session), transportation, and all of the time involved with doing cam shows, appearances, etc.

                                                                                                                                      I am not fond of models that are prima dona-like, but I am even less happy with guys that treat models badly by not providing with compensation for the value that they bring to the table. No model, no site.

                                                                                                                                      The end result is that the model's earnings as compared to the pimp...er, webmaster that cons her into such a deal with promises of great riches, is like maybe 10% of the total earnings, if she is lucky. That sucks!!!

                                                                                                                                      I pay models for all modeling, for all cam work (if any), for all appearances, plus give them 50% of the gross and pick up much of their outfit, make-up and transportation/lodging expenses, and I still make a good profit.

                                                                                                                                      There is no need to be so greedy, especially when you are simply cranking out a cookie cutter site on a shared server with burst bandwidth.

Do you run an affiliate program? I hope not because the minimum a affiliate will take nowadays is 50% You wouldn't be making anything. You'd be in the red everymonth
