                                      i dont know how you people get viruses and adware. i never have any and i run adaware every now and them to make sure. just dont click stupid shit.

                                      the only time i got fucked was when i accidentally click "yes" on some random popup when trying to switch windows.

                                              I read an article several months ago where they said it takes the average new computer less than 20 mintues to become severely infected with spyware/adware if they are not protected.

                                                                  I had my first case of spyware ever about 3 months ago. I was re-infected 4 times in a row right after a fresh format. Only thing you can do is get the 9 million windows updates and some good spyware programs installed before you venture onto the net. (

                                                                      Norton was on my PC and found 20 some viruses once I was infected. Unfortunately the POS hog of a program could only find them, couldn't take them off. Fuck Norton.

                                                                                  Learned from painful experience that all it takes it hooking the ethernet card up to my DSL modem and im infected. Best way to solve it is download and burn copies of Zone alarm, adaware and spybot search nd destroy. Also if you can find the stand alone version of SP2, download and burn that too. Then install all of that shit before ya hook to the network. Spyware fuckers are getting smarter. Last time I had around 15 trojans before I could get zonealawarm installed. Fuckers!
