i'm a huge advocate for personal liberties.. but um, he had a gun (that turned out to be fake). it had nothing to do with the costume.

obviously there is some spin to every media story, but if he didn't comply with the cops immediately when they asked him to put down the weapon.. i'm sure that didn't help his case as far as getting charged goes.
