I hear ya on all of it.. problem is.. I love those kids dearly and what she is doing is leading them to beleive daddy is comming back to marry mommy. it's going to hurt them like hell once the truth comes out a year or so from now if she waits as long as she wants to to come clean. better to get it done with now befor it hurts them more in the long run. The oldest duaghter was i counseling the last time they split up.. this time will be worse... make it wait too long and she's going to go balistic.
besides... she started getting fucky once the truth about him came out to me and my reactions are her excuses for her pushing me away and cheating as well as previously mentioned ones. Maybe it's a bit of revenge I would be seeking? Or showing her how the truth may hurt but will set her and him and the kids free in soon enough time? Or really my love for those kids and not wanting them to be hurt more than is necesary? Dunno.. but I will make sure she knows that going out with me and professing her love for me at the same time as professing a "fake" love to someone else is NOT acceptable and wont get away with it.
