RavenRiley.com 2257 Statement

After a month of counsel with our attorney, we have came to a decision regarding the new 2257 laws that effect US webmasters.

RavenRiley.com fully supports all legitimate efforts to eradicate child pornography from the net and punish any who produce it. However, we do not believe the new regulations published by the Attorney General will have any success in reducing CP but will instead reduce the amount of legal, constitutionally protected adult expression. Webmasters have already begun taking down pages. Producers have withdrawn content. Legitimate free speech is being silenced.

We believe that the Department of Justice has exceeded its authority by requiring so-called ?secondary producers? to maintain copies of records kept by us. We also believe that the additional records-keeping requirements are unconstitutionally burdensome and will eventually be struck down.

RavenRiley.com also supports compliance with laws that are in effect. Therefore, we are taking certain measures so that our program is in compliance with the new regulations until they are enjoined or struck down. We believe the private, personal information of all models deserves to be protected and we will not provide copies of any model ID?s to any affiliates. RavenRiley.com is not a law firm, so we won?t be giving you any advice on what to do with the content you already have up! No permission is given by RavenRiley.com to put up any new pages or sites using previously released hardcore content. All new content provided to affiliates will not be sexually explicit, and no banners or ads will feature hardcore scenes. We have rented space for our new offices and accordingly will be storing all of our records at the new location, so please take note of our new Custodian of Records information.

Our Affiliates are the reason RavenRiley.com has become such an immensely popular website this year. We are committed to providing sexy content that keeps surfers coming back. Thanks for the update.

To bad you guys put up all that new hardcore content and even worse that I spent 600.00 on having 30 galleries and 30 days submittions done for you guys. Your stance is correct however. Maybe that content should have never gone up, but then again, maybe I should have not had them built and submitted.

What should we do about all the hand built gals we did? Do I need to swap out all the content that you supplied that is not compliant?

SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

You made the correct choice however. Good for you!

We were softcore up until just very recently, so this does double suck. Hit me up, there are several ways we can go to work this out. We will be working with several companies on a few different angels here to stay in compliance and also use exisiting promotional materials. Lets ICQ or phone, I'm sure we can work something out.

we had it listed in our news section...... which fell off the page as new news gets added

Sorry we dont have it listed on the new jaymancash..... but the old affiliate program stated exactally.....

We arent giving out hardcore of raven at all right now..... Only in the freehosted galleries

If there was a slip in content release ill need to know which set it is so i can pull it... as when we switched I may have missed something..... I am only human...

As of right now this statment is what it is.....

maybe after the new rules are finally released and are in stone then we can lax up again but I know that as of now EVERYONE IS A LITTLE CONFUSED.... about what the fuck is going on.......
