fuck, this moving bullshit sucksssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!

packing, cleaning, organizing, throwing out useless shit.....

ya know, it wouldn't be that bad if we were moving out of town or something, but we're moving like 2 miles down the street, im so tempted to just throw shit in bags & haul it on over to the new place lol

i hate moving.

if your only moving 2 miles away, I wouldn't pack most of the stuff. just wrap up the glass stuff. Throw shit in boxes and just take it over and unpack it.

Yeah I hate moving too...it's funny but I have yet to meet anyone who actually loves to move. Fact is, it's a pain in the ass. Good luck and stay stong. It will be over before ya know it

thats what we started to do in the bedroom. we have 2 suitcases that we just packed winter clothes in (easy to transfer & unpack and saves room in the truck LOL)

i already packed up all the dishes, we're using paper plates & cups for the next 2 weeks. the biggest hassle so far is the fucking fish tank. thats gonna be a bitch.

i dont mind moving actually. i've moved all my life & lived in 5 different states, about 20-30 different citys. so im used it. but this is the first time i have to move right down the road

isnt it amazing how much shit you throw out SO EASILY while getting ready to move, but when you're NOT moving, you say "no, dont throw that out, i need that!" LOL

we're moving into a "luxary apartment" this time, and in 2 yrs, we'll get our first house. so after this time, only 1 more time of moving lol

Yeah, moving sucks. I'm going to be doing that myself in a couple weeks as my house gets closer to completion.

I'm an incorrigible packrat though. It's probably a good thing that I move every few years, just so I can clear out all the useless collection of crap I end up collecting.

i wanted to move into this slightly bigger house that was all brick, but not wanting to move held me back. for now im just going to invest until i can afford a house that i'm not going to want to move from.

i hate moving.

Amen to dat. I remember back in college, when I'd have to move out of the dorms every year, and it blew. Not to mention moving about every year prior to college for 4-5 (years). Better part of a decade moving annually.

I figured out the key was to presort. Anything you had not touched, wore, used in a year was rubbish. Always managed to get rid of 25+% of my shit. Less to move.
