New Progress In Cancer Treatment...

I agree, but like all medical beuracracies they're gonna drag this shit along for years waiting for big pharmaceutical companies to buy them off so they can still sell us expensive treatments and shit.
It drives me crazy when a 'cure' or 'treatment' is promising and they announce it to the world then tell us it'll be 10 years or some such bullshit til it's on the market.
In this case it looks faster, like in a year or more it will be more widespread in the trials phase to the point where people can actually get it. Asian markets will have it for sure as they don't bullshit around with crazy long term trial shit.
Not to say it ain't smart to wait to see if everything is okay but sometimes the wait is worse than the disease.
Like that old saying " Cure ain't no good if you have to wait a lifetime to get it. "Comment

Sorry to hear.Originally posted by HostiveThat'd be aweomse. My dad had prostate cancer 3 1/2 years ago and it has spread now. Lot's of people are impacted by cancer.
I'm so certain there are cures that people aren't getting access to.
Also, the bullshit treatment business is HUGE. As long as there's an illness some snake oil bastard will claim he's got a cure and bilks people out of millions. Even when he's caught the money ain't returned. It's stashed offshore somewhere.
So we end up having to keep an eye on the mainstream news sources for medical info which is another side of the coin.
What makes this article different is that it's referring to medicine that is created to target cancer cells specifically. That data has been around for years but with today's dna technologies when claims are made it's fast to track it down.
I've no doubt cancer will be vanquished within 10 years on the outside. It's like the oil crisis. Long as you keep it from those who need it you can make money off it.Comment
