Maybe you're talking about the blacks. I do not think America oppresses the blacks. Perhaps to a certain degree, yes. They are not given the same opportunities to go to the good schools, there IS definitely racial profiling, there is definitely racism. But is there a concerted effort to oppress the blacks? Hell no. No one is campaigning for the next election on a platform of oppressing the blacks.

I had a sunburn checked out in Miami and it cost me $800. Yes your health care system is expensive, but people know they need medical insurance. Those who can't afford it are fucked for sure. I'll agree with you there.

This isn't true at all. The HIV drugs that have been developed in your country are saving lives. And more and more people are getting tested for HIV. Getting tested for HIV doesn't carry the stigma it once did. It no longer means you're gay. I was in the hospital the other week and the doctor told me some nuns had come in and gotten tested. Testing is free in most areas and anyone stupid enough to not get tested gets what they deserve.
On that note, there needs to be funding for Post-Exposure Prophylaxis for HIV. I believe that it is very important for preventing the spread of HIV, but it is also very expensive, about $1000 for the drugs alone.
