Slash Action Figure Officially Unveiled
McFarlane Toys has officially unveiled the Slash action figure, which is scheduled to hit store shelves ? the toy aisle, not the music aisle ? in late September.
One of the best-known, most-talented and easily recognizable artists in music, Slash (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N' ROSES) is a human action figure just waiting to happen. McFarlane Toys was happy to come to the rescue and put their sculptors to work re-creating Slash in 6-inch form.
Two separate versions of the Slash action figure will be released, similar to McFarlane Toys' initial Jimi Hendrix figure.
The regular clamshell Slash (photos) will feature the action figure complete with leather jacket and tophat, guitar, one amp, one speaker cabinet and a support base.
The other version will be a deluxe boxed edition (photos) featuring the same Slash figure with guitar. This version, however, has two amps, two speaker cabinets and a larger stage-style base.
