    FX's New Show 30 Days

    Who saw it last night? It was VERY good and made you quite thankful for what you have ... so for all you webmasters bitching about money, try working for minimum wage for 30 days.

    For those of you who don't know what it is about, it's the guy who did Super Size Me and he does random things for 30 days, last night was the premier and he and his girlfriend worked on minimum wage and lived on it. Taking the bus, living in ghetto land, and working hard.

      i saw the previews to this new show, the premise looks real interesting for sure.
      hopefully i will catch the next on, missed the first.

                          "working hard" i didnt get hyped on drugs in high school, instead i worked hard and learned how to use this thing,

                          i feel sorry for no one.

                          also that doesnt count as working hard when you get a fat cheque from a network after its done with.

                              I sort of feel the same way, but I thought it was pretty obvious how hospital bills are what get people.


                              I can see why so many people are homeless. They just say fuck it, have a little bit of lower standard of living and don't have to bust their asses every day!

                                          I think you missed the point. He challenged anyone to do what he did for 30 days to see what it is like. Yes, he is paid at the end...but all the other minimum wage workers aren't. As one guy said, he started out at $7.70/hour in 1976 at GM and now he works for $7/hour doing shit work.

                                          The economy frickin' sucks right now and minimum wage hasn't been raised since 1997!! Kennedy has petitioned to get it raised every year and yet it gets voted down every year.
