I can only speak about UK culture and can confidently say that Asian people can be very astute business people and tend to be very succesful through school, careers and business.
Parents to Asian children often push there children very hard through school and refuse to accept failure.
The philosophy they adopt is very much a working lifestyle and certainly in this country, it is a common joke about the number of newsagents, garages, grocery shops etc. that they own.
The above comments probably relate to Indian & Pakistani people mainly but I think you can look at some of the Asian countries (China, Japan etc.) and to see that there economy is strong and that they are doing something right.Comment
