    Someone please explain this lonelygirl15 crap

    Ok so I'm pretty new to You Tube but every time I get on it and do some searching I see tons of these lonelygirl videos and/or spoofs. I remember seeing some news headline a while back about "lonelygirl revealing herself" but I didn't pay any attention.

    What the hell is this and why does everyone care?

              thats actually a good resource.

              from what i understand its a viral marketing campaign. basically appears to be an innocent girl that just posts vids up online for users to watch. they were going to get her to do product pushes i believe until they found out she was just a marketing ploy.
