This guy sounds like EXACTLY the dude you try to avoid when you go out; big, rude, loud, oblivious, obnoxious and violent. Sounds to me like Aaron did the right thing, I hope I can be so courageous when it's necessary.

Okay, so here it is. I really hate even making this post but here it goes.


So we were all at the Players Ball, meeting and greeting. I met Chris. He told me what he did, I introduced myself to him. Didn't see anything big deal about it at first. That is how it started, I will set a few facts straight too. Newbreed is my husband, he was introduced to you Chris as my husband. Also you said that we were talking about getting my site into your program?!? Are you kidding me? There is no way in hell I would even entertain that. ArikaAmes.com is my site, why the hell would I throw it into a program. So you even saying that is way way way off. I told you because we were talking about traffic, and I said well you can try to send some but I will tell you now that my site doesn't always convert all that great with pornstar traffic. How you got us discussing my site going into your program is beyond me dude.

So then I had to go to the bathroom. I will be honest when I don't remember if he had to go to so he came with me or if he followed me or what, however we went to the bathroom. Then throughout the entire night all you kept asking me and I mean repeatedly is do you need to use the restroom and I kept saying ummm no. You reply with are you sure you don't need to use the restroom. Again I'm like I'm pretty sure. You did that so many times, and you said it to me like hint hint. Yea I took the hint Chris, and decided that I needed to start being careful.

You said that we hung out for hours?? No way. You followed. You followed me to the bathroom, and Sic One had to help me out with that because it was so obvious that you following me. And Thank you Dan and Rev for that. Then when Newbreed, Aaron and I were going up to Aarons room to grab his portfolio you followed us into the elevator. You were mean-mugging Aaron the entire time. You obviously had some beef due to things that I don't know much about so I won't even go into that. So if you had beef with Aaron why were you even around, why did you even get into the elevator with us. Then when we got to Aaron's room, Aaron and I went in, you and Newbreed were supposed to stay outside, what do you do? Walk into Aarons room?!?! What was that all about. What was the point.

Then Aaron, Newbreed, and I all ( I don't want to say got away, but...) were able to get ahead and go on our separate ways. Then we were doing a photo shoot in fron of the fountain, and surely enough you come walking up. You grabbed my arm and asked YET AGAIN do you have to go to the bathroom, are you sure...blah blah. Again I say ummm no. Aaron took my arm and was trying to get me in a different direction to try to get me away from you, you were playing like human tug of war with me. You were huffing your chest up to Aaron the entire time. You pushed first. And everyone who was there saw it.

Your right Chris the entire fucking thing was bullshit, you are 100% correct on that. What you were doing is wrong, and honestly I can't figure out your logic behind it at all. You were trying to cop feels and start shit. End of story, it was complete bullshit.

People who know me know how I am. I am not confrontational. I hate arguements and I hate saying how I really feel. That is for sure my downfall. That is one reason why I haven't made this post until now. I am pretty pissed about everything that happened. But then I have to ask myself well maybe I wasn't as direct as I should have been. That has gotten me in trouble before. In no way did I ever lead you on, I guess I just needed to be more direct with you. I know it may sound dumb, but I apologize to everyone you was involved, especially to Aaron, because if I would have been like that, then it wouldn't have gone as far as it did.


A huge thank you to everyone for all of your sent hugs and good wishes. I am sorry that you even have to read all this crap. A HUGE HUGE Thank you to Aaron, Newbreed, Tassy, Hal, Sic One, Revsand, and KB. You guys helped me a ton and made sure that I stayed safe. Their amount of caringness and generousity is so great that it is in a good way overwhelming. It is good to know these great people. I owe you all so much and if you ever think of anything that I can do, I definitely owe you all!

Also thank you everyone who respected and understood why I hadn't posted about anything until now. It is a very hard thing to talk about. I am not trying to play or talk like a victim, it is just not the most comfortable thing for me to talk about.

This is becoming a recurring theme at two shows now. Some models had this problem with Rinaldo in Phx, now in San Diego. What makes a guy think that these girls are there for picking? Eugh, really disturbing to read this kind of behaviour. Again, I'm sorry you had to go through this Arika but I am glad you were surrounded by friends to help you out when you needed it.

I do think that this type of stuff will only increase with the amount of surfer (or people in it for the porn) that are entering the industry. Have you ever seen an avn online show? The fans are nuts and they are very pushy on ANY cute girl at the event.

That is a huge thing that made me just go WTF? When he reappeared at the fountain he was still asking that same thing. And people even heard him say it. It was retarded. I was I was really good at quick whitty comments, but I just had a lot of emotions going through me and it was kind of like I didn't know what to do.

Another thing is after the brawl by the fountain he still kept following us and was trying to talk more shit. He got on his phone, and I don't if he was really making a phone call or not, but was saying get the boys over here and get the guns. He was just wacko. It was just a bad deal all around.

Also Chris if you seriously don't remember any of this, you are just a fucking drunk. You were no victim in this situation. Aaron didn't do what he did for no reason.

It speaks volumes about your character Arika, that you stepped forward and eloquently expressed your perspective on what transpired.

Perhaps Chris can now take a step back and realize that he probably had a few too many drinks and got somewhat out of control.

I certainly don't think an apology is out of order from Chris, and in fact it could possibly help hasten this epsiode slipping off of page one in the not too distant future.

The lesson to be learned is not simply that one person got out of line, because this is not the first time this has happened based on what people said about Phoenix, but for people - especially those of the male persuasion - to get ahold of their better judgement, and control their drinking and testosterone at future business events.

It's okay to celebrate, but always keep in mind that you are representing yourself and your company to your peers. The fall from grace can be quick and painful.

Anyway, excellent post Arika, and it truly is nice that you had so many people come to your assistance to aid and comfort you. When the cards are down, there are some really good people in our community. No one should forget that.

These acts of utter stupidity hurt our industry. Things such as this act, Rinaldo's conduct in PHX, people throwing chairs thru 8th floor hotel room windows into pool courtyards, pissing all over private yachts during boat parties.

Sorry to hear this happened to you Arika and am glad to hear things worked out.

To address a question someone asked earlier though, about why do guys feel like these models are there for the pickings. Some guys can't separate reality from message board personalities. They can't discern between the "teehee...send me traffic hon...oh here's a pic of my tits" and real life. I am sure there are some who really take it personal when a female model or sales rep shows them attention in any way at all. I am sure this wasn't the case here, but in many cases I am pretty positive that's what's going on. They get a couple "teehee's" and see a few tit pics and figure that the model/sales rep is easy or interested. They get it in their heads that a model or rep is a certain way and then here comes show time and they get like Lenny from Of Mice And Men and can't control themselves. Add alcohol and then you really have a problem. I guess what I am saying is that these guys are sort of a product of the environment that the models/sales reps create. Not that it's the model's fault that the guy is too immature to handle the situation but he is led on in a way sometimes whether they know it or not.

And to add to that thought I stated before. I understand as does 90% of the industry that it's a model/sales reps JOB to be sexy. Sexy and alluring gets clicks...gets affiliates...pays the bills. But some guys can't make the connection in their heads that sexy is for sales and not much more.

So that's why you always turn me aside. I see how it is.

Not really an argument but it's the truth in some cases I believe. I mean think about it. You get a guy who lands in this business and he's a surfer at heart. All of a sudden, all these hot ass girls are paying attention to him and giving him the "teehee's" and the "thanks babes" and in his mind, she is paying attention to HIM. He doesn't connect the fact that she's interested in his traffic, services, etc. See what I mean. I am not saying it's the models fault at all. Most of us are mature enough to handle and understand what it's all about. But you always have the 1% that really don't get it and by a model/sales rep paying attention to him, even if it's strictly sales related, it adds fuel to the fire.

And that's not to say that ANY of the shit the 1% pulls at a show is acceptable AT ALL. But I am just saying, I can see how it could lead up to that given the right situation and an immature mind.

Nick, I think you make great points. The crux of the problem is that some people dont' understand fantasy from reality.

This is just like your trip to Hooters. The young, busty waitresses who wouldn't give you the time of day in the real world flirt, bend over, etc. Now 99% of the population knows this is just in fun and part of the service. But you'll get that 1% who will make dirty comments or grab at the girls.

I think the saddest part about the whole thing is that it really scares girls away. Do these girls all need bodyguards at the shows now? Is it to a point you can't bring a gf/wife to the shows? I just can't comprehend why guys think it is OK to treat women that way? And more importantly......how the hell do these guys think that lame shit works?
