Agree. Finally a serious Batman movie...shame it can't be an "R" but that would be asking too much for an industry dominated by 14-year old teeny bopper money during the Summer. Still, I'm just happy to get a serious PG-13 film. And Bale is great for sure, American Psycho was incredible.

Yeah I can't recall actually eagerly anticipating a Batman movie like this, It looks like it's going to be fucking awesome. Or at the very least not an absolute travesty like the last one. Yeah I saw Equillibrium, cool movie.. fairly b-grade and very derivative of brave new world, 1984 etc but awesome fight sequences.. Bale's in a lot of that sort of stuff though like Reign of Fire.. luckily i dig b-grade sci fi hehe. Bale always manages to put in a very good performance.. what else could you expect from a nutjob that does THIS for his acting:

You don't have to worry about the critics on this one.........its getting a solid 83% on the critics tomato-meter and a whopping 97% on the users (people viewer) meter......this movie is going to be sensational, i believe

Yeah, this is going to be one hell of a movie. Im curious as to how the setting of the city will be. I know he drives a Lambo, but I also pictured Gotham as more of a 50's kind of setting/aura.

Not too excited about it, but that's usually when movies are a pleasant surprise. A movie i'm really looking forward to is War of the Worlds, coolest trailer i've seen in years.

Rveryone I know really wants to see it but to be honest it really doesn't grab me. I loved listening to the radio plays ever year when I was a kid but the trailer just looked like special effects and not much else to me.

I think you'd like it. Came from watching it today. The story is really really good. Its not kiddy at all like the other ones.

Just got back from the movie.

I loved everything about the movie except the direction, the story and the editing and score.

That means the acting was spectacular as usual with such greats in the cast, the special effects were fucking outrageous, the bat toys kicked ass.

The actors really, really, really saved this movie with their charm and charisma. Other than that it had the dumbest plot twists and turns and progressions I've seen in years. The best action sequence didn't involve a man, it involved a car:

THE MOTHERFUCKING BATMOBILE!!!!

The Batmobile KICKS SHIT ASS TWICE REMOVED!!

Fuck Batman, go see the movie because of the car! One thing you can always say about a Batman movie, tv, comic book: The Batmobile has to rock ass!!!

The Batcave too has to kick shit.

Problem with the movie is it changed character's origins AGAIN which bites ass.

It's good Saturday afternoon fun stuff so you won't waste money I figure.
