The trends definitely seem to be more and more about harder hardcore but that'll reach a limit too. What was edgy 5 years ago is mainstream now. That can only go so far though before it's not even a sex act anymore. I think what you're getting is that the Internet and all the porn you can download has been around long enough now that people are burning themselves out and need more and more off center type shit to beat off to. But like prostitution becoming primarily a tourist attraction in places where it gets legalized (in other words the locals burn out of it), I think guys will burn out on porn to some extent and things will just end up homogenizing.
All that is the long winded way of saying that I don't think we'll see a great deal of change as we've gone through the most rapid part of the growth curve.
Now when they have cyber-reality porn that will be something. I wonder if you could have "holodeck" style porn, what would happen to the state of relationships. So many guys get into relationships just because they are looking for sex - would it slow down the dating scene?
