    I live 1 block from the beach - should i leave?

    Im on the oregon / washington coast
    should I leave ?

                                                  A quake doesn't neccessarily mean anything.. there have been stronger quakes in indonesia after boxing day that haven't made tsunami's.

                                                  Also the boxing day tsunamis was incredibly more powerful than 7.4. You probably won't get one and if you do you might not notice it.. a 1m quick tide or something. I'd still be cautious if i were you though and make for high ground after securing your perishables - HD etc. Though some pics would be choice from a safe vantage point - ie a cliff 10m-20m above sea level.

                                                                      i left once coast guards told us it would be better if we left.
