Congressman Steny H. Hoyer of Maryland's Fifth Congressional District is now serving his second term as the House Democratic Whip, the second-ranking position among House Democrats. Some of you guys are talking like your votes actually count or that the current government cares about rules and the constitution. They have to have 3/4 of the states rectify the amendment? Is that right? Bullshit, if they want to do this they'll do it. They'll change it so only half the states have to approve or some shit. This may not even be meant for George Bush, this could be for Jeb.

Either way, the world will be a nuked-out wasteland before anyone with a last name other than Bu$h is President again. The funny thing is half the country has been manipulated into believing that's a good thing.

What do voting machine have to do with anything? Do you not get how the Constitutional Amendment process works?

This bill would have to be passed by 2/3 vote in BOTH the House and Senate. That means about 30% of the Dems in the House and Senate would have to vote YES on this. That assuming that 100% of the Republicans would. Do you think Senators Bill First and John McCain who are both gunning to the Republican nomination in 2008 will vote yes on this?

Now if this bill somehow passed in Congress then 38 of the 50 state legistlators wil have to vote YES on this. Now the LEGISLATORS vote on this NOT the people. That means 13 states voting no kill this bill.

Not only that but if this bill isn't introdcued until 2006 then that means it would have to go thru all of this in about 2 years which would be near some kind of record for a constitional amendment.
