I have figured out the solution to Illegal Immigration.

If it's good enough for our prisoners, then it's good enough for them.

If you are caught in the country illegally before you are sent back you will spend 30 days on a work farm earning your keep, fare and whatever adminstrative fees you cost the city/state/country.

Once you finish those 30 days you get sent back.

Get caught again 60 days, next offense 90 days, then 1 year and so on.

Now if we contract this labor out we might be able to cover those costs, or maybe at least keep them to a minimum.

This will also keep the economic incentive to come here down, because now if they know they get caught they will still have to work but just not get paid for it.

Okay flame me now.

But keep in mind I think this is how all prisons should work. If you are in prison you better be in school getting a degree or working..that's MO. Not just lying around 16 hours a day watching tv reading books.

Sounds like a great idea, but we really need to put the military on the border. Until we do that, the problem will just keep getting worse.

Well if this could at least cover some of the expenses in dealing with this matter it might allow the government to rebudget and add that military or additional Patrol Guards.

Poor & middle class US citizens use way more services than illegals do for free.

what about the ones who dont work? section 8 housing, welfare, food stamps, free healthcare for them and their usually LARGE family. add this with the loopholes in the welfare system that lets them remain on it forever and you have chaos.

Thats not correct. Illegal immigrants are far more likely to be arrested or use police/judicial resources, welfare/housing services, or free health care resources. The number of illegals who arrive into the US looking to commit crime or receive free health care for pre-existing conditions is disproportionate with the American public as a whole. In addition, the children of illegals are far more likely to end up in special education programs (most often as ESL), or to become dependents of the state. All the while, most illegal immigrants pay no income taxe, and many pay no Social Security or Medicare taxes either.

it doesnt matter how many illegals cross our border, we're just gonna continue giving more and more of our money to other countries instead. its cheaper to build our factories in china then it is to build them in texas. at least the illegals spend most of their money buying products within our borders and working the jobs no one else wants to
