You sort of missed the point of freesites. The intial traffic may make a couple of sales if you're lucky but is not the ultimate goal. The goal is simply to have a network of properly linked, properly optimized 'free sites' ideally on a variety of domains and better still on more than one server.
Do it right and you get sales from initial traffic, older listed sites and more importantly Google and friends. A lot of work, time and patience though but well worth it. It's not the quick fix TGP traffic is but does give much better long term income.
