No one even knew he was on that shit, one of these people you would never expect to do stuff like that, ya know?

just goes to show, that the friends you do have, you may not know them as well as you think you do.

well, it could have been i guess, gonna wait to see what the autopsy says (he was just found dead 4 1/2 hours ago by his father in his fathers house), but he was at a party all night & came home in the early hours of the morning (according to his father). He found the needle laying beside him in bed.

he just recently split up with his long time girlfriend/mother of his infant son. suicide could very well been part of it. we'll see.

that was really nice for you to say that, thank you! And i do think of him as the good friend that he was, his big teddy-bear hugs, that smile that always made me smile, his humor, and his good heart.

its sad that his infant son is going to grow up & learn how his father died, and Im afriad that he will think of his dad as a 'junkie', which he wasnt! he was one of the most caring & most sincere person I have ever known in my life! i hope to tell his son someday what a great guy he truly was.

I'm sorry to here about your friend. I have had friends overdose and I know the mixture of sadness and anger you're feeling.

I doubt your friend was a "junkie." Most overdoses are tragic mistakes. Hardcore junkies rarely overdose. It's usually a novice playing a little harder than they should (evident by lack of track marks) or a heroin user that quit for awhile and miscalculated his dose not realizing how low his tolerence has gotten.

i know what it's like to lose friends and if you can maybe make a little box of his stuff to give to his kid when he gets older that would mean a lot since he didn't get to know his father good luck and i hope that you are keeping him in your heart...

Very sorry to hear that, Baba! A good friend of mine recently died of an Oxycontin overdose and a guy that used to work for me died 2 years ago of a heroin overdose.

Sucks that they never noticed that they needed help. I sure as hell didn't know that Donovan was even using Oxycontins. He had a great job as a network engineer pulling down over $100k a year.

I shall greive for your friend.
