I have a love-hate thing with the US... you have some of the best and some of the worst of stuff, like food for example... and then there's the potential of a country as great as the US, and the spoiled potential... sometimes the bile is a little bitter and it comes out with some people... but I don't think I ever spew online... there's no reason for someone to think I hate them just because where they live - everyone has to live somewhere...
I agree with you if someone is just plain wrong or rather uninformed... I hate it when someone speaks from ignorance or prejudice, and claim to have an opinion on anything they have no real knowledge of.
But face it, with the kind of influence the states has on the geo-political playing field... they're going to absolutely be pissed on sooner or later...
You got Bush... too bad, but wait..., now we (Canada) got Harper - and if he could he'd get down on his knees on the north pole and swallow George whole...
And the Canadians are the ones who're gonna gag and puke... you'll be welcoming us to the fold soon, instead of giving us shit for giving you shit... cause its all going to be the same shit lol
