    "The problem is, for the pornographers, most of those films have no records whatsoever," explained Pat Trueman, senior legal counsel for the Family Research Council. "That allows the FBI to charge with a crime the seller of that material as well as the producer."

          You should read his entire testimony to the Senate. He has been and will continue to be quite active in initiating prosecutions against obscenity. What qualifies as obscenity to them? Well, their online form offers these categories to be checked when filing an online report:

          Masturbation
          Sexual Bestiality
          Excretory Functions

He spearheaded the push that resulted in the FCC increasing TV and radio obscenity fines to a half million dollars per incident and his organization was largely responsible for Howard Stern's troubles with the FCC.

                                                                                                                              He was also threatening to try to have Columbia House charged with obscenity once they launched their adult DVD club called Hush. It was supposed to have launched at the end of January, but seems to have gotten lost somewhere along the way.

                                                                                                                              He also hawks a pamphlet called Dealing With Pornography: A Practical Guide For Protecting Your Family and Your Community that "explains how to fight porn in stores, on the Internet, and on television -- what options you have, who to contact, and what to expect".

                                                                                                                              Ynot published this lengthy article about Mr. Trueman just 3 days ago. He opposes the .XXX domains.
