    FireFox 2.0 RC3 released

    Ok so I finally downloaded this new versionof FF to give it a try. Color me not impressed so far. The load time problem has NOT been fixed. Time it took load a site.

    TEST 1
    Pogo.com

    IE7- 5 seconds
    Opera 9- 14 seconds
    FF 2.0 over 2 1/2 MINUTES and even then not everything showed up. Still some missing some graphics.

    TEST 2
    Buccaneers.com

    IE7- 7 seconds
    Opera 9- 5 seconds
    FF 2.0- 6 seconds

    TEST 3
    Weather.com

    IE7- 7 seconds
    Opera 9- 8 seconds
    FF 2.0- 11 seconds

    TEST 4
    Gofuckyourself.com

    IE7- 6 seconds
    Opera 9- 6 seconds
    FF 2.0- 9 seconds

    How can ANYONE say this is BETTER and either IE or Opera? Having to waiting 2 1/2 minutes before I can surf a site and then still have broken images? Cache was cleared each time before loading page so no browser had an advantage.

    I'm still going to test this out some more but so far not much better than FF 1.5 which isn't saying much. As far as I can gathher FF has a real problem with CSS. Since when I click TOOLS then ERROR CONSOLE all the warnings have something to do with CSS on pogo.com.

      Pogo.com loads for me in like 2 seconds.

              Are you a member of Club Pogo? Try that page. Point is no problem in IE or Opera only FF. So it HAS to be a FF problem.

                      Yes it's my system that's why it loads just fine in 2 other browsers. And you don' t have to join anything dipshit.

                                          you must be doing something wrong, (probably some messed up config), most sites load faster in FF for me then IE...

                                                      I don't know man, for me it seems faster... you probably didn't do anything wrong, you are just using stock version of ff... I optimized mine, so that could be the reason why it's faster for me...
