    A Plea To Sponsors Regarding 2257

    If sponsors are going to start changing their policies so that affiliates have to modify any promotional material on their servers to be comply with new TOS changes please...

    DO SO IMMEDIATELY .. AS IN YESTERDAY .. AS IN AS MUCH BEFORE JUNE 23rd AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN.

    First Lightspeed announces that they are no longer allowing hardcore content to be used to promote them in light of 2257. Ok great.. I go through all the galleries that I have ever made promoting lightspeed and I count 26 galleries that may no longer be allowed by the TOS. However, LS hasn't released their new TOS yet AFAIK (I keep checking their news section in the webmaster page every day and no news about it being updated yet).. so I'm not really sure where to go yet.

    Now today, TNA cash makes the same announcement. Now I have to go through TNA cash galleries that I've made looking for the same etc.

    Point being .. the longer you wait until June 23rd the more you are fucking your affiliates. Updating for 2257 is important but it should not be everyone's primary full time job. Many of us have families to feed and can not spend 24 / 7 making changes for 2257.. and I am very affraid that come June 16th it's going to be crunch time because all these sponsors will announce last minute changes with only a week left to go and every affiliate will be totally screwed working day and night to conform to their new requirements.

    So please .. if you're a sponsor .. do your affiliates a favour and decide what you're doing about 2257 now.

          I still dont see how anyone can actually go through ALL of their galleries. I have been submitting daily since 2001 and have used dozens of sponsors. Some have gone out of business, others have been shut down etc so that removes them from the list but come on.. how is it possible to go through all of this and make it compliant??? I wont be able to do it. Now I'm left with the decision, do I simply delete everything or try to make it all compliant and possibly lose my partner submit accounts? We have yet to hear from any of the larger TGP/MGP's if they will allow changes to our galleries - either way submitters are fucked. if I delete my galleries I get blacklisted. If I change my galleries, I get blacklisted. This just fucking sucks!

              Its even worse when you are expected to do this work, when there is no need for it any many cases

                      What does that have to do with whats beeing discussed here...

                      I agree that sponsors changing their terms should give a decent time window for webmasters to update and workout things, specialy when 23th is just around the corner

                              I'm not changing anything. I stopped submitting 2 years ago, I dont even remember where I hosted most of that shit. They always told me to build, submit, and forget... now they expect me to remeber....

                                      I agree, that is why we made our announcement, before our content area is
                                      100% done, as well as we are still writing our new TOS. With the announcement, you can still get compliant. Companies like LightSpeedCash, Ours, and others with single girl solo sites, will have less to change, than other companies with hardcore content. I have seen or heard that sites with have mostly hardcore content will release 2257 records, but even filing those with URL's still takes time....
                                      With that said, I guess if you are a sponsor I promote ( on my list in sig )
