I have listings under search terms that I haven't used on the pages listed in almost a year. Lots of em.
Yahoo's SE database is seriously fried.

Put it this way, once they have you in their database for a certain keyword or phrase, you can show up for that phrase no matter what is on the site now. I had a webcam page up named a specific 3 word term on a site I sold ages ago. The new site that was put there is still listed for that keyword phrase even though the entire site was dead for 6 months and not listed anywhere. And no backlinks coming in at all. Crazy.Originally posted by EviLGuYYahoo sends me way more traffic then google does these days.. from some really random keywords. I am not complaining though.

Yeah.. but these are some old pages which weren't properly optimized... I'm so in love with Yahoo lately... I'm even starting to do well on MSN for some phrases... Google can go fuck itself with it's PR crap...Originally posted by chadglniUpdates? I jump in the top 10 on certain phrases I target within a few days.

Whatever idiot at google thought it would be a good idea to "sandbox" sites for months or years should be fired. By the time a site gets indexed there the fad is over and nobody's looking.Originally posted by TempestYeah.. but these are some old pages which weren't properly optimized... I'm not talking about for SEO's. Google doesn't like SEO's yet they are the ones that know how to get past the sandbox. I'm talking about legitimate sites that people put up on a subject that is the hot topic. 2 months to a year later google puts it in regular results but nobody cares anymore. They are only hurting the sites they claim to want in their results.Originally posted by AdultNexThere are simple ways to get pass the sandbox.Comment

I've started working on my own traffic again, and it's amazing how fast you can get listed in Yahoo and get nice results.
There was an incident that occurred recently a nice one I might say..nothing as big as Paris but people are looking for it and I'm getting like listings 1-6 on really nice keywords for that incident...I wish it were that easy with google...LOLFor rent - ICQ 127-027-910
