    Anyone familiar with ICQ FUCKING problems?

    Hi there


    I keep getting 0406 error, which means I can't connect to the ICQ server. Of course, I have all the default settings in ICQ that worked a couple days ago and has for the last 2+ years.


    I run my work computer on a hub which is plugged into my cable model.


    There is no firewall, no other shit going on. What's wrong? How come ICQ support is useless? How come without ICQ I'm paralyzed as far as talking to anyone regarding business?

      Man, I share your pain. All my new contacts are "ORPHANED" meaning, I can't message them but their history message shows. Also, ICQ drops messages as well. I suggest using Yahoo IM as a backup.

          Yup. I keep getting disconnected from ICQ all day (using Miranda + ICQ plugin, but getting the same results on the original ICQ). It was pretty unstable for about 1.5 months now. It's pretty annoying, but it still is 'the IM', so I can't afford not to use it...

                          Thanks, this is driving me insane. There are quite a few people I need to message and of course, ICQ is fucked.
