Depends on who you ask.
According to some, the biblical flood wiped away all the filth and left only Gods chosen. So we all are (technically). Some people have since turned away from the covenant obviously.
Christian Identity will say that the 12 Tribes of Israel (after they were dispersed) fled north into Europe. So people of European descent are the true children of God. Everyone else, children of Satan.
The Coptics will give you a different story, the Jews will give you an entirely different story, and obviously Islam puts forth its own story.
