Then what? Will GFY have to start giving the IP;s of every user that posts a pic here. And will the DOJ then get a supena to match the IP to an address???Originally posted by SetTheWorldonFireIf they see a dead guy in the car, they will contact the owner of the car first.Care about me?

The way I understand it is if you publish it on your site then you are a secondary producer and need 2257.
If you publish it on your site using an iframe, you still published it the same way as if you hotlinked it. You basically hotlinking a page instead of an image.Comment

But gfy does allow hotlinkingOriginally posted by turboI think the fact that gfy does not allow attachments will at least keep them in a grey area. if they let any tom dick or harry attacch aka upload to their servers, then they'd be more likely to be held responsible.Care about me?

Sucks, i would think that when people are commenting on serious law contracts and regullations they would speak with facts and not opinions.Originally posted by turbolol, that's not a clause, it's an opinion.

So i can start running forums like TGPs. And say its a means of communication, and i will just hotlink to image posts and link to fghs. Just like a tgp, i will say a user posted it.Originally posted by V_RocKsThey are protected by,

I dont think a paysite would mind be hotlinking/iframing a banner/picture/fpa as long as i send them traffic and sales.Originally posted by GatorBWell I'm sure the site you are putting in a frame apreciates that. I mean maybe I'll put The Hun in a frame on my site. He won't mind will he?Care about me?

Well that's the thing. I could frame one sponsors FHG and have banners to OTHER sponsors above it and below it.Originally posted by AlexI dont think a paysite would mind be hotlinking/iframing a banner/picture/fpa as long as i send them traffic and sales.Comment
