I'm not about to say we looked with a microscope - long term clients develope trust with people and you don't spend a ton of time on their stuff cause you TRUST THEM. anyway - banner goes live june 1 - trolls find it and post it to gfy - i'm actually happy it's caught right away - client is informed to change banner immediatly - and to my knowledge does. later it's found it's still going to the same place - so client is dumped - permentantly.

            Just so it's public knowledge - sleazydream does not accept beast sites or any sites with beast stuff in them. The ad sheet states this before clients even purchase - it's upfront and clear. been like that for YEARS.

            Yes - a client did cheat us - it was caught within a few hours and corrected. that's all we can do - it's no different than what any search engine or other advertising place can do in that circumstance. Once we become aware of it we correct the problem as soon as is humanily possible.

            so that's the big conspiricy. No i didn't make any more money from this - they paid the same rate as everyone else for that banner. I don't do affiliate work so there is no reason for me to promote such things. All ads are pre- paid at the same rate and there is a waiting list so this def slipped though the cracks and we take responsibility for that but did correct the problem as soon as we become aware of it.

            that's it - i've stated this several times on here for you fucking trolls and every time i do that thread seems to die and a new thread with the same bullshit pops up.

                                            yes they check both banner and site, but it was a long term client and with people you TRUST - as the trust was developed over YEARS - you don't look as close. they mosty look quickly for excessive popups, installs and other nasty things. they didn't see those they said they didn't see any beast stuff when they checked. i don't know if they missed it or if the site was changed - but like any program when you have a long term client that's never cheated you - you end up not looking as close as you deal with them more.

                                            once again - this was found on my site within hours of it going live by people on here - if it was there in the past don't you think these people would have found it - think about it.

                                                                            What quickdraw failed to notice was that the .js file which your site links to was archived way back then, and thus the adverts being served on the archived page are the adverts that were being served at that time. The proof that this is the case is the fact that there are sites in the banner rotation on the archived page that do not appear in the current banner rotation.

                                                                            Just compare these two files:

                                                                            Current: http://sleazydream.com/horizontal.js
                                                                            Old: http://web.archive.org/web/200406230.../horizontal.js

                                                                            For example, you can see that there is a fatpaychecks website being advertised in the old rotation, and no fatpaychecks site currently being promoted. That is proof that what is showing up in the archives was indeed in the current banner rotation of the time the page was archived.

                                                                            Just figured i'd clear that up.

To be honest that is ok, you are probably a busy guy. You hired a good company to handle this for you. I think you are probably taking 100% of the blame for something your only 25-50% responsible for. And I am a little disappointed that CyberCat hasn't just come out and said that they failed you. It was not your fault, they messed up and it would not happen again. I'd have to assume they are making a financial gain by selling advertising on your site.
