Gallery Submitters, what are you doing with your non 2257 galleries?

I don't really submit galleries much anymore, but I have 100's maybe 1000's of galleries that I submitted at some point over the last 3 years that are still up on my server. They all get some traffic, mostly from search engines. I get a nice little check each month from them and I haven't touched them since I originally submitted them.
So with June 23 rapidly approaching what should I do with these galleries? They're not compliant. It would suck to lose the free money that they represent to me, but at the same time, I'd prefer not to go to jail ;). I'm leaning towards pulling down and pointing the 404 at a hosted gallery that fits each niche. That will be the end of my search engine traffic I assume.
What are all of the rest of you going to do with your old galleries? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I have to say I'm a little disappointed in the response to this thread. No one submits galleries? I guess you don't need to submit galleries anymore with all of the money everyone is making with their sig spots.

i still haven't decided whether or not i'm going to 404 them or not.

i'm hoping for injuction. i have my thumb TGP designed already to be text TGP tho :-/

I submit movie galleries all over from too many domains to mention and I will be deleting non-compliant galleries with sponsor content, well at least just redirecting for the most part. I am keeping them aside.

All my key sponsors will be approched and measures taken to ensure I have what I need or simply move on. Starting over sucks when you have 1000's of galleries.

When the Law was introduced we already added the 2257 Statement. Since we rotate Galleries every 30 days all the Hardcore/Sexualy explicit Galleries are now compliant. We even added the 2257 link to our Compliance to every freaking Gallery

I'm not sure yet. I mean, I am going to be living in the US from August until December, and I also host my galleries on US servers, so I guess I have to take them down...

Otherwise I'd just say fuck it, and leave them up...

I'm just a newbie.

Not that I need to being in Canada, but I got word from all of my sponsors that they'll either give me what I need, or at least NOT term my account for leaving up old stuff (that WAS compliant under the old 2257 laws, but not the new ones).

So, I'm leaving my old ones as is.

I have hella galleries up right now, but Im not too sure what to do at this point. I still get checks from galleries that have been up for more than a year. Galleries and shooting have been mi ways of making some change in this game. I really dont want to 404 all of that shit, but Im at a loss either way (as far as sponsor content goes).

Time to get creative, Gallery submitters. Step your game up.

while I do agree that professional webmasters with a solid rep (like you)should be given the chance to have those certain docs, I won't be dropping any sponsors for not allowing me to have those docs, i will just do all text and playboy style shit

Take lightspeed, he said use softcore content. That's fine, but if the girl has her panties on and her legs spread wide open, or her hand over/covering/near her pussy are those compliant? No lascivious pics of the pelvic area. Go look that word up. Has a couple different meanings. Which one is the Judge going to pick? No simulated masturbation. Oh and lets not forget headers and design elements. If you grabbed something from the sponsors tour to tie your galleries to the site more and it contains any pics you don't have papers for, they have to go.

For the Sponsors, that we promote, we are doing the same things.
We are switching out as much content on most of the galleries, but several we will have to just 404...

this is EXACTLY what I have been thinking about lately.
Last night, i went through ALL of my galleries to see which ones were hardcore, had a (correct) 2257 link on it, banners/logos that have hardcore images in them, etc etc Its going to be a pain in the ass, but i decided to just make new pics & generic logos/banners to replace the hardcore ones.

Thats my plan, at least for now, until I find out whats going on with 2257. Hell, even lawyers dont understand the whole 2257 thing, it doesnt make any sense, it says to do 1 thing, but if you do that 1 thing, then you're breaking about 4 other DIFFERENT laws.....its retarded. So, i'm going to play it safe for now until 2257's "laws" are clear.

I'm not going to touch mine... except for the lightspeed ones because of their program changes that require it. I'll just be switching all of the photos to a generic softcore photo set, i've always named my pics the same (photo01.jpg, photo02.jpg, etc) so it'll be an easy enough change.

On a side note... Half the galleries out there aren't even compliant with the current laws regarding the 2257 information being listed on the page itself, why does this new one scare so many people?
