    How many servers does one need to increase traffic by 100K using P2P?

    Roughtly speaking, what kind of money and servers are we talking about to increase your traffic by 100,000 per day?

      There would of course be an outlay of cash to get even a small volume like that running, but the real money would come in the administration of all those servers. It takes a fair bit of work to keep things up and working well on a scale of any size.

              It depends on the servers and how they are ran, if you do 4 quad xeon servers, 3 for web pages load balanced and one for mysql you should be fine at 100k.

              You looking at about 2k a month for this. but most will want a contract and a deposit.
