Darn spyware and ISTtoolbar SUEING

FYI

Confirmed that isttoolbar and related spyware are from gammae entertainment..

ysweb or something also is them different name..

Toronto and montreal based..

now get a team of lawyers and we can sue them for disruption of services..

Been 3 times i have to reformat my workstation...

im in for 50,000$ +

never saw shit.. all i know is im fully latest SP's; etc..

i see a dow window popup... computer freeze.. ( it was instaling 70+ spywares.)

i hard unpluged the cpu.. TOO LATE...

never saw shit..

Now i cant even boot in safe mode.. i reformated and took a closer look at the exe..

Gammae is making the wrapper..

uner ystoolbar...

and they pay 5-6k per day to some affilaites each to fuck us up.

and they got lots of people..

so we can/should retaliate

nothing got flagged..

Gamma is one of the biggest spyware distributors on the net.

Webroot considers IST/xxxtoolbar/Gammae to one of the 8 biggest threats to the internet....

Good to hear 80% of you send them traffic.

In fact they made me loose a 200k project i had on this computer.. wich took me 9 months to build..

DONT EVEN START with backups..

the fact is .. the box woudnt have problems is GAMMAE software didnt fuck it up..

ESPECIALLY since i never installed anything

BTW

the lawsuit arises under the State?s General Business Law, which prohibits false advertising and deceptive business practices, and New York?s common law prohibitions against trespass.

Maybe 9 weeks as a grunt. If you were 9 years online you would know better...

First off burn Norton that program is POS and memory hog (trust me). Go out and get Mcafee AV and Firewall. Also throw Adaware in the mix of all your spyware zappers.

As for losing $50k of your data you are more retarded then I thought. If I had a HD with that much at stake I would do everything in my power to retrieve it. All you had to do was to put the HD in another machine set it as slave and boot-up on the clean HD. Once you get on windows all your data is their for you to back-up. Bam just like new, I know cause I do that all the time for people for free.

I don't know what people are doing to get spyware unless they don't have a third party firewall installed (MS default sucks and easy to inject allowed programs) don't use firefox, and don't do critical updates. I know cause I purposely infect myself with spyware/viruses all the time to learn stuff that I need to.

I have never seen a gamma toolbar that installs by itself.. If you have holes its possible an affiliate is using that hole to send you to the instal page but i cant see how they could auto install the toolbar the program isnt setup that way.

Are you using xp-sp2 ? or sp1

And i have yet to see any "for profit" toolbar that destroys a hard drive and all the information. Chances are you panicked , messed with something you shouldnt have , windows couldnt load so you reformatted.. Next time stop, get an expert and get back your files.

second.. i talked to owner.. i said i wanted to spam his toolbar and needed an ivisable one and he said he would get his guys to make me one...

so now i got PROOF they do it

of course that call was for kidding

i dont spam and hate spyware....

but it seemd normal for them the way they spoke..

Sorry but you dont sound very believable.. you spoke to the owner of gammae ? and told him you wanted to spam the toolbar and he said his guys would make you an invisible one ?? hmm if they are already supposedly using invisible toolbars wouldn't they already have it made ??
