Never heard of it. Is it similar to Kazaa? I don't use much P2P stuff but it's cool to download funny movies and shit.

Yes way Better than Kazza !

This shit rocks . I used I mesh forever . and got limewire and went in and searched limewire for the turbo edition and actually cracked the program with the program lol funny shit ... well by far the best speeds I have ever seen. Connection of 250k for a file sharing proggy is incredible !

I used limewire back in the day but it stopped working for me so I've switched around. Lately, I've found everything I need through eMule. eDonkey was sucking starting to suck!

Thanks for the tip. Would you happen to know if there is any spyware attached with this program? I know eMule is spyware free (or at least if it isn't, my Microsoft Anti-Spyware isn't aware of it).

Haven't used Limewire for a couple of years. The last version I used was too much of a resources hog and about the slowest speeds of any program out there.

That's why you don't use p2p for executables and if you do they should be scanned with the most updated AV definitions before opening

welcome to yesterday. If you havn't been using LimeWire for at least 6 months, something is wrong with you. Also, for those who are smart, download the free limewire, then download LimeWire Pro from the free version

OK. I'm trying the new Limewire and I am not impressed at all.

The download speed is too inconsistent and barely tops 100 at it's fastest, mostly ranging 20-50K. This is with over 40 sources. I do 300K with bittorrent with fewer sources.

Better than bittorrents? I'm not so up to speed on p2p shit.
