The only thing i can think is that with his experience and age he figured he didn't need to take anymore punishment.. he already got his 5 mill for the fight.. Although really the scorecards were close enough he could have finished and just been beaten on a few points instead of quitting.. which is a pretty strange thing for a champ of Kostya's elite caliber to do instead of maybe losing by 1-3 rounds.

He also took a blow so low that my nuts retracted into my abdomen.. that will sap you of your will to go on. Kostya just fought the wrong fight.. shouldn't have stayed close and let the guy lean on him and smother him. It would be a different story in a rematch. Hatton is good. But he's no Kostya and a little one dimensional.

LOL.. A Champ. You do realise that was just IBF right? Come back when he's unified the division and dominated it the way Kostya has for a decade and then we'll talk about how he's even half Kostya's class. If he does, great.. time will tell though. He's playing with the big boys now, not the chaff he's built his record on. I've got nothing against the guy - he's obviously got skill and a helluva lot of stamina... just have to see how it plays out at champion level.
