Eric - Thurbs is 100% correct . Legend Trail is a great extreme desert course with tons of awesome elevation changes. Either of the Troon North courses is great golf. Pinnacle being the harder of the 2.
Personally I love Eagle Mountain everything kinda slopes to the right and if you are like me, thats a good thing. Or if you can get to Chandler go to Whirlwind ( 2 / 18's) its the best for the price out of the Troon Facilities. It's where they use to play the Buy.com tourney. Awesome f*$king track (Devils Claw)

I played the Gold Canyon Dinosaur Course a couple of weeks ago, #4 on the above sites top 10 list, and it was a really nice course. It weaves through, up and around the mountain and is really a joy to play. If I'm not mistaken it was around $60 per golfer but when you consider some courses can be over $100 it wasn't too bad. It's way out on the east side past Apache Junction but it may be worth the drive for you to check it out.Comment

Thanks for all the info guys. I am actually coming into town on Sat afternoon. Planning to go out that night. Who ever wants to join in would love to hang out.
As for the golf we are playing Dinosaur on Sunday morning and then TPC desert on Monday. We would play Stadium but it is overgrown right now and will be super wet and like playing on Shag carpet. Not my gig.

i live on a couple nice courses but they're on the southside of PHX. i like the one right behind me, but i'm a shitty golfer so i probably like it because it's easier. :P
