Pricey, but i guess its a neccesary cost to ensure we all stay legal!

Does this program follow legal guidlines / legally accurate as far as 2257 is concerned?

with this "my2257 Webmaster Edition $595 + $29 per month" what happens if the webmaster no longer pays the monthly fee?
Since they need to keep records for 7 years from last publication seems like you could have them by the pinkbits.

So does this mean the software will not work on the users system or that is just stoped getting updates?

Live feeds will have to use the larger network version.
                            This version is for Webmasters.

Press release on the Live Feed technology to be released soon.

So after trying to rape webmasters with a $3000 packaged computer and software, which you adamantly stated was to protect against 'unlicensed' copies of XP, you're running an comparatively expensive software solution after you got chastized instead of selling it? You lost me as a customer forever during your first thread.

Unless I am mistaken they are two seperate products. The one in your thread was more for the sponsors than the affiliates or secondary producers. As I seem to see it the one posted in this thread is for affiliates and secondary producers and the other one for sponsors and producers is still 3,000.00+

Ahh your right, Still a rip off for webmasters because most are part timers and cant afford to pay 600 bux for software then a monthly fee or they loose the license thats blatantly stupid, Thats like microsoft selling me XP and saying hey pay us 100 bucks a month or the license gets killed BITCH!

As I seem to see it the one posted in this thread is for affiliates and secondary producers and the other one for sponsors and producers is still 3,000.00+
I admit I didn't (and still haven't) bothered to read this threat's original post to make a comparison, so you may be right. I just think in a time of need, people should help each other out and not try to profit at others' expense...I don't see much difference between this and selling water for $10/gallon after a natural disaster.

The central question is that if I go out of business tomorrow, broke and unable to pay the monthly fees, or if your service quits tomorrow for whatever reason, will I still have the full records on hand that the law requires?

Because if not, this isn't a solution at all. The potential penalty for failing to keep the records for long enough, is simply too great to put that much faith in a remote third-party service.

Yes - You still have your full system and database.
The software runs on your machine.
You just have no access to our servers for updates and support.

We will still offer larger solutions that run on Microsoft Server 2003 with SQL Server.
These will be turn keys due to the amount of configuration required to configure for each company

These systems are intended for large production operations (Primary Producers).

This is where we had originally intended our business to go, but we understand the need for a simpler product that only offers the 2257 components.

We have had 100's of request for additional information and probably 100+ calls in the last few days. I apologize for the delays in getting back to everyone that has requested information.

I will be in Los Angeles Monday - Thursday for a number of meetings and presentations with perspective clients. We have a few very large companies to meet with and anticipate some exciting sales next week. Please email us if you need anything ASAP next week.

                                                        A rip off?

                                                        No it's not.

So what if the average webmaster is a part timer? There are still costs involved in doing business and being compliant.

If you can't afford the software then you can't afford an attorney who knows about these laws either so you have no business being in this business and are only making things worse for the rest of us.

I have NEVER claimed this product was for everyone! I have referred a number of people this week to other products. Probably referred 2 to 1 to others products than our own. We ARE not going to be cheap or FREE. We have a lot invested in this product and have a number of very LARGE companies interested in our services.

There is as much room for compliance products and ideas as there is for content producers and niches. Everyone will eventually find the shoe that fits their business and chose to go with that solution.

After speaking to a number of large affiliate programs, primary producers and large site owners this week we have a much better understand of the vast amount of time, energy and finances it will require these Companies to invests to become and stay compliant. Our goal is to assist these Companies to the best of our abilities.

We are bringing aboard another programmer in the next few weeks to wrap up our Live and Streaming video solution and hope to have it ready by months end.

A lot is happening here and people have been working 18+ hour days for the last two weeks to get everything done as fast as possible. This has been a huge under taking and I know there are people who think this product can be written in a few days. I wish them the best of luck and success on their endeavors.

Again ? is our product perfect for everyone?
NO ? what product ever is.

Will it fit the needs of many?
YES ? The enquiries ? Meetings Scheduled and 100?s of phone calls have assured us of that.

So since they are going to ensure compliance for us.. will they go to jail on our behalf if their patent pending method doesnt keep us compliant?

Or will we have to pay a monthly fee for that service?
