North Korea to 'display' nuclear force: report

    http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNew...198/?hub=World

SEOUL ? North Korea said Thursday that it would "physically display its nuclear deterrent force," South Korea's Yonhap news agency reported.

The remark by an unnamed spokesman of North Korea's Foreign Ministry could be an indication that the North intends to test a nuclear bomb.

"When the time comes, the DPRK will take steps to physically display its nuclear deterrent force," the North Korean spokesman told Pyongyang's state-run news agency KCNA.

DPRK stands for North Korea's official name, Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

For weeks, North Korea has said that it was building up its "nuclear deterrent force," a term the North uses to refer to its nuclear weapons program.

U.S. intelligence officials believe that North Korea already has one or two nuclear bombs and may be building more.

On Thursday, KCNA quoted the North Korean spokesman as saying that his country has "no other option but to continue to take steps to keep and increase its nuclear deterrent force as a self-defence measure," fearing it may be next on the U.S. list for invasion after Iraq.

Think what a nuke can do ? kill allot of people.
Now what gov's will do to protect the people i guess its allot...
They must be happy in north korea since they have a key that can bring them allot of power and cash in that area just for not going to war with them... And if some thing will go really wrong they can punish allot of people.

How do they get "Democratic People's Republic" out of evil dictator whom starves his people and kills them off by the thousands in death camps?
In November, you can vote for America's next president or its first dictator.

Today NK announced that sanctions would be considered an "act of war". There's some good news.

It's about time.. maybe the rest of the world will wake up and wonder why they haven't learned from history.

What's the use of remembering history and what the Germans did, what Stalin did, what Pol Pot did if you fail to act when it happens again. You would think Europeans especially would be against what North Korea is doing. The nukes are just a side note to how many people have died in their death camps.
