    My girl just got me a Sony PSP for my B-day

    With a tony hawk game. It's looks awsome time to toss my gameboy
    I'm still a kid at heart and I travel alot so this will pass the time. Any good golf games for it.

    What are some kewl games to get for it?

    Also where is the best place I can download movies for it?

                              i was just in best buy ... i was going to grab one and the girl there said she works in CS most of the time and they are coming back like crazy because pixels keep going out for no reason .... she said to wait a few months (not sure why ..maybe there putting out fixed ones) or make sure you get a one year service plan .. so they'll replace it ....

                              another nice little tip .... i bought a second play station to keep in the other TV room. I got the new slim one ..first off this thing is 1/2 inch thick and maybe 8"x6" in size ... really small. ... ok .. the kid at the counter said when the PS3 comes out ...if you bring back the old one with a problem they will replace it with a PS3 .... he said one way to mess it up without physical damage is to play the movie SEVEN in it ..he said there is something with the DVD that fucks up the laser ...something like that ....i'll give it a try and report back ..

                                      The problem with this at the moment is that they're taking them back and replacing them if you have (i think) 13 dead pixels. If you've got less than that, you're out of luck.

                                      Mine has 1 dead one already.

                                      Also...that dude was blowing smoke up your ass. Replacement plan will only get you a new PS2 (which will still be on the shelves come PS3 time). They're not going to give you a $500+ PS3 as a replacement to a $129 PS2. No way.

                                                      I figured the plan on the PS2 was bull but it was $20 for a year. My son leaves them on all the time and I've already had one go bad .. the laser wouldn't read most games .... i figured the $20 was no big deal .... if what he says is true that would be sick .. but your right it's not like there pulling the PS2 out of the stores .... I will say he told me that after i bought the service plan ... but there kids and may have just heard some store chit chat ...

                                                      Sucks about your PSP .... i say one pixel is damaged and should be taken back ...

                                                                                                                                                          When I bought a PSP for my son and told the clerk I didn't need or want the extended plan she went into this rude fit about it like I was stupid not to pay the extra money. I wouldn't budge and she called the manager who started to pitch me even harder saying Sony products always come back with problems and all this other BS. I've been buying Sony products for decades and have never had a problem with any.

So I think they're all using this tactic to scare people into the warranty deal. Its BS. Don't fall for it.

                                                                                                                                                                      For movies as far as I know your only option at the moment is to buy 1GIG memory cards, format the video on your PC and transfer to the card.

                                                                                                                                                                      The blank discs aren't available for sale and they have other piracy protections in place.

                                                                                                                                                                      If it had some mega memory built in, it would be awesome but still great for airports and long plane trips as well as storing photos.

People saying stuff like "if you also get one of these and add this and bla bla, you can do this with your PSP"

                                                                                                                                                                      Kinda like explaining to someone how it's so cool you can use audio on the Internet and messaging them for 10 minutes how to set up audio in instant messenger or wherever, instead of just picking up the phone and calling them with whatever you wanted to tell them in the first place.

I wouldn't budge and she called the manager who started to pitch me even harder saying Sony products always come back with problems and all this other BS. I've been buying Sony products for decades and have never had a problem with any.

So I think they're all using this tactic to scare people into the warranty deal. Its BS. Don't fall for it.
