There was a show about 2 weeks ago on discovery I think, they presented an electric car (fancy sports car), they're making it in Monte Carlo, it has a 300km or so economy on one charge, and they said although it cannot go over 170km/h, the acceleration is unbeatable since it has huge torque even at low low rpms.. They didn't mention the pricetag
but they did show Roger Moore buying one for his wife
