im sure they are different as everything else is different from each other ;)
i bought salvia up as it maybe in some way an alternative to dmt if one looking for "out of this world" expirience as dmt is very difficult to come by at least in some places. and again i understand you cannot replace one thing or expirience with something else.
from my understanding both salvia and dmt is very intence, maybe psychologically overwhelming and many people who did one or the other would never come back to either one of them for the second time (these people i speak of are regular psychodelics users who thought nothing can shock them or scare them to death)
