I was reading the Epassporte thread (naming of the program account)
and was thinking.
The problem for affiliates of trying to work out which Epassporte payment is from which sponsor is caused from a lack of basic business practices from many programs.
Most programs will never even email you a basic email once every 2 weeks(on payment day) telling you how much was just paid to you and where it went.
Why don't all programs simply email affiliates something like this :

"Hi there Stephen
You made $5900 this period and you were just paid this amount by (Epassporte) to account [email protected].
Date : 07/10/06
Paid from account ([email protected])
Thank you for promoting us"

Can someone tell me why all programs don't do this? It can be done with wires, epassporte quite easily.
All our affiliates are emailed courtesy emails informing the affiliate how much they got paid and to where. It takes 20 seconds extra using a html template (copy & paste) or 3 seconds per affiliate using our new Php scripted system.
We get paid $1000's weekly by various programs and it just get dumped into our Epassporte along with 100's of other transactions, which makes it a chore to track each sponsor to make sure they paid on time etc.
Wouldn't it be nice if more programs would send courtesy emails?
