    Freehosting and 2257 ??

Got a question to those that know some more about these regulations. We run several freehosts that are hosted in the states, domains are registered under a US Inc.
Now with these regulations and all the webmasters that put up their content, often without any 2257 links, i guess we would be responsible for this.
Since I don't want to break any US rights, what would be your suggestions to keep the freehosts up ? Change them to some other company in a non US-Country maybe ?
Let me know what you know/think.

    Thanks in advance, Killah

          You was?

Your bio says you are based in the U.K. Is English not your primary language?

          "You was...."

          Are you an English redneck?

If he can't read the regulations correctly, what makes you think that he would be able to read the GFY attorney replies correctly?

Thanks Aaron, of course that idea didn't come to my mind yet... I was so stupid to ask about it on GFY first because some people might have more experience with it here than a lawyer that needs half an hour to understand what freehosting is...

Fucking hell...you really have a problem don`t you?

"You was" as in "You was in my ICQ contact list from a previous conversation"

Correct grammar would probably have been "You are already in my ICQ list"
But does this really mean so much to you?

Moving the company to a foreign country would be good... And I also suspect you could argue the same as a "host".. that it's not reasonable for you to manage the content...

If the server is in the states and your hosting it? you need to worry. But if your not a US citizen and you don't live in the states then you should move it out of the US.
