I'm surprised no one knew about this earlier considering Crissy posted this on her MySpace profile back in August:
I have cancelled all my photoshoots for the future but I still have a dilemma. I have an adult website which I am in a contract with I believe for another two years. It is very popular and earns me the majority of my income. I have to get a copy of it from my webmaster because as I was packing I couldn't seem to find it. After that I get a copty of it I will figure out what to do and I will do this when I get back to CA on Wednesday. Please pray for me about this. I hope it won't be too difficult. I have a huge fan base and I am hoping to convert my website to my testimony. Atleast I do own the domain name so after I figure out the contract stuff I can do whatever I want with it!!
Crissy is one of my all time favorite models & I'm sad to see her leave, but most of us will get out of the industry at some point, religious or not. The things that make this industry enticing (money, sex, rebellion) tend to lose their appeal over time.
I think if Crissy had said something like "I feel that God has a different plan for my life & it's time to move on", there wouldn't be so much animosity in this thread. We've all heard the judgemental Christian holier-than-thou tone enough to jump immediately to a defensive position.
Regardless, good luck Crissy! I wish you nothing but happiness.
