I just watched one of the worst Bad Beats in all of my poker days. The hand played as follows:
Blinds $10/$20
Everyone folds except for big blind and small blind players, we will call them player 1 and player 2.
Flop falls 4 of Spades, 4 of Clubs, 10 of Diamonds
Player 1 bets $50
Player 2 raises to $100
Player 1 calls
Turn card is a Queen of Diamonds
Player 1 bets $100
Player 2 Raises to $400
Player 1 Re-Raises to $500 going all in
Player 2 Calls
The pot is now at $1240
The river card is an Ace of Diamonds
Player 1 has a 4 of hearts and 4 of Diamonds, giving him a 4 of a kind off jump.
Player 2 has Jack, Queen of Diamonds, catching the Royal Flush on the river winning the $1240 pot.
Thats a True bad beat
